Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing early engagement with inherited suppliers to identify and implement risk reduction strategies; conduct BOM risk assessments to find alternatives in response to obsolescence and end-of-life related risks
  • Developing and driving strategy execution for required supplier capacity ramp activities during commercial launch and product ramp requirements; manage relationships and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving commercial excellencethrough cost reduction initiatives including competitive bidding,effective negotiation, and creative cost structure solutions
  • Evaluating end-to-end supply and identifying opportunities to decrease total cost of ownership (TCO); influence make vs. buy decisions
  • Improving position with critical Tier I & Tier II+ suppliers to reduce risk and drive BSC prioritization through strategic buy recommendations
  • Partnering with divisional leadership and PMO to prioritize competing new product development projects and ensure supplier readiness
  • Enhancing service and commercial performance with single-source and challenging suppliers through contracting tools (i.e. MOUs, Letter Agreements, MSA, SQA, etc.)
  • Fostering strong relationships with R&D to influence design and alignment on second source opportunities with preferred suppliers
  • Providing leadership and support for new product development scope to ensure divisional performance deliverables are met


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or supplier relationship management
  • Proficient with MS Excel and other applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or professional certification (i.e., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience sourcing for electronic components and suppliers
  • Experience working in medical device or similar regulated industry
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills, ability to influence internal and external teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills: process and results-oriented

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
