Job responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by your team.
• Build subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Python and practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of software applications & technical processes.
• Primary development platform is Athena (JP Morgan’s platform cross-asset risk, pricing and trade management solutions to clients), so any current or prior knowledge in the platform is highly acknowledged.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
