Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Own and improve the governance process for building APIs for JP Morgan Payments
- Owns, maintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Launch new products and solutions on the developer portal delivering cutting edge developer experiences that set industry standards
- Collaborate with product, technology and other cross functional teams to plan the PAIs build and rollout
- Maintain a demand and prioritization process for competing priorities across Payments APIs
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to drive consensus
- Understand our clients needs, gather feedback and inform the organization to drive the API strategy of Payments
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Knowledge and experience of payments industry or financial industry in a banking or Fintech environment
- Proven ability to work with various internal stakeholders and drive consensus across the organization
- Experience of building technical platforms or marketplaces from product management perspective
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Process improvement and re-engineering experience
- Expertise in working with or developing APIs or product management experience in banking digital channels
