What You Will Be Doing
- Developing the systems we use to build and support Elastic's websites
- Collaborating with our brand design team to continually refine our design language
- Advocating for user-centric design and development practices
- Designing and building end-to-end web experiences
- Supporting and collaborating with external teams that rely on our systems
- Concepting and prototype UX interactions and motion studies
- Working closely with your peers to build a culture of excellence for our team
- 5 years of relevant experience in design and front-end development at a tech-forward company
- A mastery of visual and user experience design
- A deep understanding of modern HTML and CSS
- Proficiency in modern web development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience writing clear, elegant code as part of a team
- Experience with version control and modern deployment practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A strong portfolio showcasing public-facing websites, products, engaging microsites, design systems, or anything else you think is relevant
- Experience working in SaaS or enterprise software
- Experience with scripting languages, like Python and Ruby
- Experience with web optimization, A/B testing, and accessibility
