Description
Responsibilities include:- Identifying stories and trends in the cultural zeitgeist across a variety of beats.- Providing context around complex news stories, often on tight deadlines.- Communicating directly with our publisher partners.- Using data and analytics to responsibly incorporate user behavior into your editorial strategy.- Working cross-functionally to support News projects and goals.- Surfacing bugs and other performance issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent writing skills and strong news judgment.
- Four years of experience in a fast-paced media role, preferably in a newsroom environment.
- Comfortable working across teams and incorporating feedback seamlessly into your work.
- Fluency with a variety of CMSs.

- The ideal candidate for this role has proven experience fighting for high quality journalism, approaches problems with a flexible and strategic mindset, anticipates issues and concerns, and constantly asks smart questions about what we could be doing better.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $113,000 and $170,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
