This position is a part of the Central Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team within the Finance organization of Citi. The RRP team supports a range of high-profile regulatory initiatives central to the safety and soundness of the firm and bank. In particular, the RRP team is responsible for the development, oversight and maintenance of the 165(d) and Insured Depository Institution (IDI) Resolution Plans and the Citigroup and CBNA Recovery Plans. Additionally, this team is responsible for facilitating or advising international regulatory requirements and inquiries related to the firm and bank’s Recovery and Resolution strategies.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support Citi’s and CBNA’s recovery and resolution plan submissions by facilitating engagement with business and functional partners
- Providing first line review and challenge of plan content owned by business and functional partners
- Support the development of Centrally owned plan content, including executive summaries and public sections
- Build consensus from senior leaders to ensure accuracy and alignment of regulatory messaging
- Provide updates to the Head of RRP and other senior executives on the status of key strategic deliverables
- Incorporate feedback from various stakeholders engaged throughout the plan submission process
- Draft other regulatory and senior management communications related to RRP
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Significant intellectual curiosity and desire to learn how Citi’s conducts its activities, often at a granular level
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail and diligence to ensure internal and external expectations are met sufficient to withstand scrutiny of senior executives, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense, and regulators
- Ability to discern open-ended, ambiguous mandates, regulatory requests or guidance, and recommend an appropriate course of action
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with people at varying levels across the organization
- Must be a team player while also demonstrating an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and matrixed environment while multitasking and meeting strict deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as economics, finance or accounting is preferred
