Senior Vice President, Financial Controller

As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in shaping our recovery framework and ensuring that our ICAAP process are robust and effective.

You will also oversee MAS 637 reporting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for ICAAP, RRP and MAS637 , and Basel III / FRTB implementation

  • ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process):

  • Oversee the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the ICAAP.

  • Ensure comprehensive risk assessments and stress testing are conducted to evaluate capital adequacy.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and insights for ICAAP reporting.

  • Present ICAAP findings and recommendations to senior management and the board.

  • Resolution and Recovery Planning (RRP):

    • Lead the development and maintenance of the Recovery and Resolution Plan.

    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

    • Regularly review and update the RRP to reflect changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape.

  • MAS 637 Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with MAS 637 regulations, including regular reviews and updates to policies and procedures.

    • Monitor and report on compliance with capital adequacy and risk management requirements.

    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to any inquiries or examinations.

  • Basel III and FRTB Implementation:

    • Lead the implementation of Basel III and FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) requirements.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of new requirements into existing processes.

    • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and auditors.

    • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to various stakeholders.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • 3-5 years people management experience

  • Ability to present and influence across organization level and functions.

  • Ability to translate strategy into execution.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred.
