Strategic Projects Leader, BCM – Associate Director (New York area preferred)
Reporting to the Industry Group Strategy & Operations Leader, you willmaintain alignment around the BCM strategy, vision, and priorities.
Your key responsibilities
- Teams with the BCM Markets Strategy & Operations Leader.
- Serves as a trusted and strategic execution partner to BCM Leader, while engaging with the Sector leadership Team; will ensure impactful and action-oriented Sector board meetings by preparing agendas, provide facilitation support when needed, and tracks follow-up actions and key outcomes
- Work closely with the BCM Leader and key partners, including the broader administrative team to fully optimize the BCM Leader’s calendar and time as needed: will ensure intentional and proactive alignment with the BCM Leader’s vision and priorities
- Lead and execute high-impact projects assigned by the BCM leader, ensuring alignment and accountability across senior leadership. When not directly leading, will still play a key influential role in advising and supporting the leadership team, in alignment with the broader business strategy
- Proactively identify and prioritize key issues and opportunities, developing strategies in partnership with the broader leadership team to solion and capitalize where appropriate
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the BCM leaders’ agenda and organizational goals
- Provide oversight and coordination around the BCM leader’s messaging, working closely with Communications, Talent, and other key partners
- Plan and prepare for all major BCM Leader events, including town halls, boards and forums, client visits, video recordings, collaborate with other areas to prepare presentations, talking points, and briefing notes on behalf of the BCM leader
- Continually scans the environment for trends, innovations and new technologies that impact business and educate the broader team on the changing and evolving landscape
- Drive day-to-day actions and priorities, balancing short-term needs with long-term priorities
- Drives centralized asks from Americas Markets organization related to strategy planning

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10 to 12+ years of related industry experience
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services market
- Experience and ability to prioritize, adapt and execute strategic projects
- Ability and temperament to manage conflict and engage senior stakeholders
- Ability to synthesize a vision into a plan
- In-depth knowledge and breadth of experience with project management practices and tools
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to assert ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment for shared projects
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience in the Banking Capital Markets
- An advanced degree or MBA
- Ability to travel (potential two to three times a month to Charlotte or New York)

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,900 to $252,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $157,100 to $286,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
