Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer – React (multiple positions) in Gresham, OR.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Configure and develop complex application systems using React JS, Redux, ES6 and Cloud based technology platforms.
  • Consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation and then convert business requirements to prototype.
  • Participate in design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery.
  • Develop and implement application systems. Assist in definition of timetables and project tasks. Analyze and estimate cost and time.
  • Perform change impact analysis tasks.
  • Create comprehensive unit test plans and test cases. Create and execute performance tests to ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved and create reusable components.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of moderate complexity, significance, and risk.
  • Work on Node JS, making Ajax calls with fetch and bootstrap.
  • Working with Cloud platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or IT and 18 months of related software engineering experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 18 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Participating in design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery. 2) Configuring and developing complex application systems using React JS, Redux, ES6 and Cloud based technology platforms. 3) Consulting with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation and then converting business requirements to prototype. 4) Creating comprehensive unit test plans and test cases and creating and executing performance tests to ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved and create reusable components. 5) Developing and implementing application systems, assisting in definition of timetables and project tasks. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.
