To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
- Over 1 Year of experience required in one or more areas within SAP EWM/MM preferably with Global client.
- Responsible for providing support SAP EWM/MM module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support incident solving by analyzing incidents raised by users and provides solutions.
- Working closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are followed-up and addressed timely.
- Handle Basic change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements.
- Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
- Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onshore model.
- Ability to work with guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
- Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Well versed with SAP EWM process including Warehouse structure and master data management, Goods receipt and goods issue processes, Storage and handling unit management, Labor management and resource management, Yard management and cross-docking, Slotting and rearrangement, Wave management and picking strategies, Physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Well versed with SAP MM process including Sourcing & Procurement process including Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Invoice Receipt, Vendor Payment, Service Procurement (Service Entry Sheet- SES) Contract Management (Value/Quantity Contract), Stock Transfer Order (STO), Master Data (LTMC, Migration Cockpit).
- Familiarity with the integration of SAP EWM/MM with other SAP modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP TM (Transportation Management).
- Exposure to middleware technologies, APIs, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) for seamless data exchange.
- SAP Certification in SAP EWM/MM.
- User Training Experience.
- Experience in data migration (LSMW, SAP DS, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit) and SAP upgrade projects.
What you will do:
- Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 1 Application Management Specialist.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP EWM/MM solutions and designs.
- Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts.
- Working closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are followed-up and addressed timely.
- Handle change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements.
- Defect resolution and defect analysis related to EWM/MM.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation, applied AI tools and innovation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
- Available to work on shift hours depending on the requirement of the client.
