Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of content designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating professional growth and skill development.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive content design strategies that align with PayPal's business goals and user needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Work closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Advocate for content design best practices and user-centered design principles across the organization.
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Establish and refine content design processes, tools, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in content design.
- Hiring & Talent Development:
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent in content design.
- Develop onboarding programs and training initiatives to ensure team members are well-equipped to excel in their roles.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or related fields.
- At least 4 years in a leadership role, managing and developing product content design teams.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive user engagement and meet business objectives.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and content management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Design, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
