What you need to know about the role-
In this role you will be part of our LATAM FP&A team, as the FP&A Financial Specialist for Mexico you will be partnering across multiple business areas within PayPal driving strategic analysis to make business decisions. You will help the team setting and delivering targets trough driving and supporting the financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis efforts through deep analysis and understanding of large data sets. You will also have the chance to participate in regional strategic projects.
Your day to day
In your day to day role you will:
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Analyse trends to support the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly/quarterly forecast and actuals reviews.
Strong financial and strategic analysis to deliver actionable recommendations.
Financial Analysis:
Perform detailed financial analysis, including KPIs, profitability, and cash flow.
Develop KPI metrics and dashboards to understand current business behaviour.
Ad-hoc analysis: run analysis to get a deeper and better understanding of the business, investment effectiveness, improvements or ways to mitigate risk.
Management Reporting:
Support FP&A team on daily basis activities.
Prepare guidance and financial update materials for team Leaders.
Provide financial analysis for key projects and business strategies.
Work closely with accounting and central teams to get a better understanding of our actuals and ensure correct reporting
Investment & Strategic Support:
Evaluate new investment opportunities and assess financial risks and returns.
Support strategic initiatives by providing strong financial insights.
Process Improvement:
Use analytics to identify and implement process improvements for better financial planning and reporting.
Work with large volume of data, extracting and manipulating large data sets using SQL and SAS.

4- 5 Years of experience in FP&A or Accounting.
Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, economics or related fields.
Strong ability in SQL, Microsoft Office (Excel Macros preferrable), Visual Basic, and Tableau.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Candidates are required to be highly analytical and strong effective communicators. Desire to work with multi- project management and continuously changing environment.
