Manage a team of Sourcing Analysts to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Oversee multiple cross functional teams in developing and executing sourcing, Supplier Management strategies, and complex Contract negotiations
Manage development of standards, policies, targets, and category strategies including segmentation of categories and commodities as well as rationalize with global perspective
Set strategic direction with suppliers, established Supplier qualification criteria, develop contract requirements and master agreements, model total cost of ownership, and negotiate contracts
Liaise with global leaders to ensure strategic programs are well represented in the regions and countries
Manage all deliverables to an established timeline, service delivery level, and savings target as well as drive diversity spend within commodity category
Engage business units and suppliers to drive Citigroup value propositions and build strategic Supplier relationships leveraging Supplier involvement and integrating the supply chain
Assist the Chief Procurement Officer with the development of overall procurement strategies, planning, and team leadership, and recommend new work procedures and processes of complex procurements
Liaise with global leads to ensure business representation and regional members defined sourcing strategies, interface with Citi business leaders, and oversee cross regional products
Apply fundamental knowledge of sourcing processes to develop complex sourcing programs, supervise the sourcing process, and prioritize new complex sourcing programs
Act as backup to sourcing Senior Group Manager when necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience
Strategic sourcing management experience
Proven experience in Program Management including reporting and analysis
Demonstrated knowledge of eProcurement tools/systems
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
