What you will do:
- Focus on key relationships with our most strategic partners, defining joint value propositions with those partners and expanding our portfolio of differentiated market offers
- Develop close relationships with key technical stakeholders and key partners
- Provide consultative sales positioning to help with new business development
- Conduct live presentations, including diagnostic evaluations and demonstrations to understand prospective partner needs and educate on the value of Jacob’s products and services
- Work with other sales and delivery professionals to drive increases in revenue for the D&D Business Unit
- Provide valuable insights from partner development meetings to inform future initiatives and new development inquiries
- Manage initiatives for growing number of partners through vetting, contract support, partner enablement activities, pipeline management and monitoring of partner KPIs
- Develop deep understanding of the product and solutions offerings within D&D to become an effective and professional representative of the organization
- Identify new revenue streams and collaborative opportunities including innovative ways to reach new organizations
- Work as a part of a team to grow development strategies while optimizing existing processes and approaches
- Efficiently analyze data to create and recommend new engagement strategies
- Consistently and effectively track communications and outreach with past and current partners
Here's what you'll need
- 5+ years in sales, partnerships or related field
- Ability to organize, manage and champion a development plan to completion
- Ability to gather, interpret and act upon market data
- Experience in developing and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities to grow key sales goals
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product or service from senior management within the organization as well as externally
- Ability to interface well with and develop a rapport with internal and external constituents
- Strong understanding of Jacobs markets, customers, products, dynamics and competition
- Experience and ability to use market and research sales data
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data driven decisions
- Creative ability to find new ways for new opportunities to be developed and finding completely new roots to market
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure that agreed upon terms are favorable to the organization
