What you will do:

  • Focus on key relationships with our most strategic partners, defining joint value propositions with those partners and expanding our portfolio of differentiated market offers
  • Develop close relationships with key technical stakeholders and key partners
  • Provide consultative sales positioning to help with new business development
  • Conduct live presentations, including diagnostic evaluations and demonstrations to understand prospective partner needs and educate on the value of Jacob’s products and services
  • Work with other sales and delivery professionals to drive increases in revenue for the D&D Business Unit
  • Provide valuable insights from partner development meetings to inform future initiatives and new development inquiries
  • Manage initiatives for growing number of partners through vetting, contract support, partner enablement activities, pipeline management and monitoring of partner KPIs
  • Develop deep understanding of the product and solutions offerings within D&D to become an effective and professional representative of the organization
  • Identify new revenue streams and collaborative opportunities including innovative ways to reach new organizations
  • Work as a part of a team to grow development strategies while optimizing existing processes and approaches
  • Efficiently analyze data to create and recommend new engagement strategies
  • Consistently and effectively track communications and outreach with past and current partners
Here's what you'll need
  • 5+ years in sales, partnerships or related field
  • Ability to organize, manage and champion a development plan to completion
  • Ability to gather, interpret and act upon market data
  • Experience in developing and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities to grow key sales goals
  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product or service from senior management within the organization as well as externally
  • Ability to interface well with and develop a rapport with internal and external constituents
  • Strong understanding of Jacobs markets, customers, products, dynamics and competition
  • Experience and ability to use market and research sales data
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data driven decisions
  • Creative ability to find new ways for new opportunities to be developed and finding completely new roots to market
  • Strong negotiation skills to ensure that agreed upon terms are favorable to the organization
