QA tasks:

• Understand and analyze any infrastructure requirements that are needed to deliver the product.
• Perform copy editing reviews on the content, document appropriate changes, and consult Experience Designers (and SMEs) to incorporate the changes into the content per the IBM standards and Guidelines.
• Perform functional testing (such as System Integration Testing – SIT) to identify issues and risks up-front, and work with the rest of the team to mitigate the same.
• Conduct Accessibility Verification Testing (AVT) to ensure the products that are being developed are as per the CI162 Guidelines.
• Perform Go live to ensure the product being delivered is as per the established standards and specified requirements.
• Support any deployment, publication, and hosting-related activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Understanding on the latest web technology skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, SQLs, Git, JS Libraries and Frameworks – Vue, React, Angular, etc.)
• Expertise on different testing procedure (Copy Editing, SIT, UAT, AVT, GoLive, etc.)
• Expertise on cross-platform testing procedures (Windows, MAC, Linux, Android, iOS, etc.)
• Expertise in tools like JIRA, accessibilty-supported technologies like screen readers and apps etc.

Required professional expertise:

• Excellent English language skills like grammar, verbal, and written skills.
• Excellent teaming ablities and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to mitigate blockers and deliver the results on time.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in end to end implemention of the software testing lifecycle
• Understanding of automantion testing
• Experience in gathering test requirements and creating test cases
• Collaboration and management skills to gather the requirement and create test cases
• Understandig of Visual Design/UxD and User Interface/Front-end development
