As a Sr Chemical Process Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality products.Your expertise and technical knowledge will contribute to the success of our operations and the delivery of sustainable solutions to our customers. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location on an Onsite work schedule.In this role, you will impact the company by developing and implementing innovative chemical processes, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement chemical processes to meet production goals and quality standards.

• Optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness through process improvements.

• Conduct process simulations and modeling to identify areas for optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for process-related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering.
