Description
As a software engineer on the Bolt team you have the following responsibilities: - Contribute to the architecture, design, development, and operations of large-scale systems designed for machine learning. These may include, but not limited to, data management systems, data engineering workflow systems, distributed compute systems, and their web portal & web service components.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Software development skills, with proficiency in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js (experience in other front end frameworks is a bonus)
  • Experience building APIs either with RESTful or gRPC architecture
  • Experience at delivering and maintaining user experiences command-line tools, or web interfaces
  • Experience using tools similar to Splunk and Tableau to do data analysis and have data driven approach to delivering solutions
  • An intuition for collecting user requirements and translating them into features that deliver clear user value
  • Creative, collaborative, and product-focused
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent industry work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge in user experience design
  • Experience in delivering distributed systems and services in a production setting
  • Experience with data visualization
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure like Amazon EC2 and EKS, Google Cloud Platform
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry work experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
