As a China Banker in our Wealth Management business, you will understand each client’s wealth objects and investment requirements, and work in close partnership with specialists in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions, as well as in identifying new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Focus on Chinese UHNW individuals and families, as well as institutions
  • Manage all aspects of client relationship, develop and maintain long-term relationships through strong personal networks and contacts
  • Build portfolio of clients using resources and expertise of JPMorgan’s platforms, products, services, and networks
  • Actively involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients, cultivate prospect lists and actively convert them into clients and deepen relationships
  • Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities and risks
  • Oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each client’s wealth objectives. Provide access to specialists and manage clients’ investment portfolios
  • Responsible for working with other team members on client sponsorship / Know Your Client

Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • University degree holder and / or 7+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
  • Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance
  • Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience a definite advantage
  • Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment
  • Detail-oriented and results-focused
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
  • Appropriate local regulatory qualifications and licenses
  • Fluency in English required, with Mandarin a definite plus
