Description
With a background in Electrical Engineering, the ideal candidate will contribute to a large range of projects, focused on Schematic authoring, system design, design reliability and PCB design. Responsibilities include but not limited to defining requirements and workflows for reliability, system design and the design release process to PLM. The candidate will draw upon strong analysis, communication and problem-solving skills to drive creative, impactful and efficient solutions, helping our hardware design teams deliver their best work.The key responsibilities of the CAD Engineer will include:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
  • At least 6 years of industrial experience developing workflows and working with EDA tools like Spice, System Capture with a deep understanding of system design methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Constraints driven designs and flows.
  • Understanding of power topology analyzer and mean time between failures
  • Knowledge and understanding of training development and delivery
  • Experience working with Customers and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good debugging skills
  • Knowledge of Confluence is a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
