The baseline individual for this role will be entirely comfortable with the Linux operating system and programming languages such as C/C++, Python and Bash. Experience in programming or testing graphical desktops is a must have. Solid experience with Linux package management, version control systems, automated build processes, and software automated testing are another must have. An understanding of and experience in contributing to open source projects is a plus.Utility Computing (UC)Key job responsibilities
You will write, read, review and iterate over narrative documents for planning and technical designs. You might be asked to join scheduled or ad-hoc communication for whatever idea or issue is being worked on. After all, you are key influencer on technical strategy and you will heavily weigh in on technical direction of the architecture around you.You will write code that implements the technical concepts that you strategized and reviewed. You will also lead other engineers around you to contribute to your implementation.A few times a week you will have 1:1 meetings with other leaders in the organization, initially for your own mentoring and learning, and later to discuss current and future projects.A day in the life
