Research and prepare landscape analysis on potential targets.
Work with Business unit teams to find opportunities for potential M&A targets
Develop and implement decision-making frameworks to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities.
Drive consensus on sophisticated strategic questions with engagement from senior management, cross-functional and cross-regional teams .
Prepare executive-ready presentations with strategic framing, analysis, and recommendations .
Conduct rigorous valuation analyses (using multiple methodologies) and business / integration / harmony case modeling.
Coordinate due diligence and evaluate due diligence results.
Facilitate and manage acquisition and investment processes with cross-functional groups involving business units, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Site Operations, Product Management, Engineering and other functional teams.
What You Will Bring:
Dedicated to eBay's Hybrid Work Model based out of our San Jose, CA corporate headquarters or our Austin, Texas office. Hybrid required the employee to work onsite 3+ days/week.
Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity, venture capital firm or corporate development team is preferred.
Experience in settings that require critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team and with people in other functions, to multi-task and to thrive in a high-tech environment.
Strong project management skills including ability to support multiple end-to-end projects simultaneously.
Proven curiosity about eBay by virtue of having transacted on the platform.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
