What You Will Accomplish:

• Research and prepare landscape analysis on potential targets.
• Work with Business unit teams to find opportunities for potential M&A targets
• Develop and implement decision-making frameworks to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities.
• Drive consensus on sophisticated strategic questions with engagement from senior management, cross-functional and cross-regional teams .
• Prepare executive-ready presentations with strategic framing, analysis, and recommendations .
• Conduct rigorous valuation analyses (using multiple methodologies) and business / integration / harmony case modeling.
• Coordinate due diligence and evaluate due diligence results.
• Facilitate and manage acquisition and investment processes with cross-functional groups involving business units, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Site Operations, Product Management, Engineering and other functional teams.

What You Will Bring:

• Dedicated to eBay's Hybrid Work Model based out of our San Jose, CA corporate headquarters or our Austin, Texas office. Hybrid required the employee to work onsite 3+ days/week.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity, venture capital firm or corporate development team is preferred.
• Experience in settings that require critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team and with people in other functions, to multi-task and to thrive in a high-tech environment.
• Strong project management skills including ability to support multiple end-to-end projects simultaneously.
• Proven curiosity about eBay by virtue of having transacted on the platform.
