We’re seeking Civil and Environmental Engineers with an interest in Water Resources Engineering to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for both local and global clients. As a Water Resources Engineer work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities.
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with emphasis on water resources is required. Graduate degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- E.I.T. with the intention of obtaining California PE in future.
- Knowledge of mathematical optimization, linear programming, hydraulic, and/or hydrodynamic models (examples include CalSim II, CalSim 3, , etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel) and programming languages, including VBA, Python, and/or R.
- Knowledge of California hydrology and water resources is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.
