Job responsibilities

• Supports review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise data
• Responsible for advising and making custom configuration changes in one to two tools to generate a product at the business or customer request
• Updates logical or physical data models based on new use cases
• Frequently uses SQL and understands NoSQL databases and their niche in the marketplace
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on data engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Extensive ETL experience required this could be across various products
• Working experience with both relational and NoSQL databases​
• Experience and proficiency across the data lifecycle
• Experience with database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy
• Proficient knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms
• Proficient data modeling skill required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Data Engineering experience using products such as Databricks, snowflake, spark, and/or other could based databases
• Data Engineering using cloud based LLM tools a plus
• Extensive Business Intelligence experience a plus
