Determine the control strategies and instrumentation selection for UOP Schedule A projects. These time critical projects require that you work closely with other discipline engineers and Project Management.
Manage the generation of Schedule A instrument specifications to ensure the accuracy and quality.
Develop the control system strategy for UOP equipment proposals and provide engineering and equipment cost estimates working with vendors and Process Engineers.
Maintain and improve the Process Control and Instrumentation infrastructure for one or more of UOP’s technical offerings. In this role you will establish and document the design procedures, control philosophy and instrument selection to meet the process requirements.
Be involved in the development of new technologies.
Other activities include working with the various equipment groups in UOP to translate our Schedule A packages into Equipment offerings for our customers, participating in industry group conferences and answering questions from field engineers relating to issues they have encountered.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
10+ Years of relevant experience
