Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish and coordinate geotechnical field explorations and laboratory testing programs.
- Prepare boring logs and subsurface profiles.
- Design and analyses for shallow and deep foundations and earth-retaining structures.
- Perform seepage and slope stability analyses.
- Develop geotechnical reports.
- Work in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams from across North America.
- Possess an outgoing and positive attitude, are dependable, and meet all assigned project deadlines.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a team environment with multiple deadlines.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Civil Emphasis is required;
- Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification;
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for work;
- Good verbal and written communication and skills;
- Computer skills including CADD, and Microsoft Office;
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel;
