As a Client Service Specialist within our Currency Team, you will ensure the timely and accurate settlement of JP Morgan's FX transactions. You will manage day-to-day client relationships, providing high-quality service and operational excellence.

Job responsibilities:

  • Confirms and ensure timely settlement of FX trading activity through direct client contact.
  • Resolves incoming queries and investigate root causes of issues.
  • Builds strong relationships with Clients, Front Office, Middle Office, and other internal clients.
  • Collaborates with internal and external groups to resolve client issues.
  • Promotes and supports automated solutions to clients.
  • Initiates and participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Escalates issues to the team leader within an appropriate time frame.
  • Engages in project management activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Previous experience in an operational, financial services, or customer services environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and follow through with departmental objectives, considering risks in daily processing.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload while working as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Results-oriented with the capability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Capacity to think laterally and understand the big picture.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Numeric skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel, Word, and Access.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • FX & FXO experience.
  • Working knowledge of the IB funds transfer policy.
  • Knowledge of TSSFX and Athena.
