What you'll do...
You’ll make an impact by:
- Set and manage globally distributed engineering teams
- Providing cross-functional leadership : Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, program, and business teams to deliver omni-solutions across Walmart Global Tech org
- Developing and executing plans : Drive the execution of multiple business plans and tech initiatives. Effectively communicate execution, capacity, resource plans, and priorities
- Building strategic relationships: Partner with peer teams to help design omni-presence solution across different Walmart teams
- Operating with excellence
What you'll bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing team of 10+ engineers and building cross-functional influence
- Strong technical expertise in software development, including proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, and experience in cloud-based technologies such as Azure and GCP.
- Experience driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business
- Planning and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly
- Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
- Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness and participating in and supporting community outreach events

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
