WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support all aspects of the end-to-end global payroll process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness—working closely with local payroll agencies and global vendors (PEOs/EORs/payroll providers).
  • Prepare and review semi-monthly and monthly payroll data, including earnings, taxes, equity, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, validate reports, and support general ledger payroll entries and accruals (e.g., in NetSuite or similar systems).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees and government agencies worldwide.
  • Collaborate with local payroll agencies to maintain compliance with tax regulations, social security, and labor law requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements, and support audit and compliance efforts.
  • Maintain and update documentation for payroll processes, controls, and procedures.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, delivering high-quality support and subject matter expertise to employees, HR, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with HR, benefits, accounting, and external partners to ensure data integrity and alignment throughout the payroll lifecycle.
  • Identify and contribute to payroll process improvements and automation initiatives, including system integrations and workflow enhancements.
  • Participate in global payroll projects, such as new country rollouts, vendor transitions, or system upgrades.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years supporting global payrolls across regions such as EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Solid understanding of international payroll processes, including compliance with local tax and labor laws.
  • Experience with equity compensation and related payroll/tax reporting (e.g.,RSUs, ESPP).
  • Experience working with third-party global payroll vendors or PEO/EOR partners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with financial and HR systems such as TriNet, NetSuite, Workday, or ADP.
  • Exposure to global mobility or expatriate payroll programs.
  • Familiarity with payroll compliance frameworks such as SOX.
  • CPP, GPA, or other international payroll certification preferred.
