Key job responsibilities
- Lead software projects that require the work of multiple engineers.
- Work on problems with multiple risks and roadblocks using solutions that are as simple as possible.
- Effectively communicate technical designs and decisions in writing.- Participate in all stages of the development life-cycle, spanning design, development, testing, and operation.
- Iterate on product features based on user feedback.
- Build and operate entire applications end-to-end, across UI, API, Database, and Infrastructure.
- Drive design and security reviews to help improve the quality of all our services.- Modernize existing tech stacks and solutions.
- Mentor more junior engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
