Key job responsibilities
- Own Network Security Decisions for solutions including robotics, automation, and embedded devices.- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard systems and infrastructure
- Perform Network security design reviews and risk assessments
- Develop and maintain security risk register and partner with risk owners to ensure security risks are remediated
- Simplify ACLs required to clear the Network backlog for new and existing solutions
- Collect, Analyze, and Summarize data from a variety of sources to create compelling written and verbal communications.A day in the life
A Security Engineer should foster constructive dialogue and seek resolution when confronted with discordant views. You will collaborate with business leaders to define security priorities. You will support product leaders by acting as a trusted advisor and by providing them with the direction that makes security easy. You will guide teams towards solutions that are secure by default. If secure-by-default solutions don’t exist, you will invent & propose them.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of any combination of the following: threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience implementing security solutions at the business division level or equivalent
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
- Experience providing risk assessments of vulnerabilities and evaluating mitigating controls in large, complex networks.
- Excellent communication and data presentation skills that allow you to clearly, compellingly, and effectively influence audiences internally and externally, across organizational boundaries


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst) or GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender) or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or PenTest+
- Knowledge of industrial ethernet protocols ( CIP, PROFINET, EtherCAT ) and related technologies used in material handling equipment and fulfillment automation.
- Linux systems engineering skills and a solid grasp on operating system fundamentals
