As a Branch Operating Model Lead in Consumer Banking, you will lead the development and execution of key priorities that will ensure a strong control and operating environment, such as audit and control best practices, support branch consolidations and New Builds with real estate and facilities access, adoption, and initiatives. You will ensure all branches across the region meet and exceed all operational expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Identifies and implements best practices and process improvements that will ensure a strong control and operating environment for the region
- Builds and leverages relationships with internal operations partners to enhance branch effectiveness across the region and understand themes and opportunities
- Liaises with Control teams on Policy and Procedure changes and enhancements to ensure communication and implementation within the region
- Serves as a subject matter expert on control and operational procedures and acts as an escalation point for Market Directors
- Partners with Market Directors and Real Estate team on activities such as coordination of branch consolidations, new branch builds, American Disabilities Act initiatives, and implement changes
- Promotes a strong controls environment by engaging partners in Branch Review and Branch Controls Support, Compliance to understand regional and national trends and opportunities
- Inspects integrity and effectiveness of operational processes in Internal Controls Self Check completions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years proven experience coaching and managing people and projects in a consumer-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with other areas of Consumer Banking, Wealth Management & Controls
- High degree of branch operations, controls, and technology acumen
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- College degree or military equivalent
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
