The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Expertise Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of training initiatives to ensure alignment with business priorities, campaigns, and the needs of both internal and external users. This role requires constant interaction with various teams, including APL, CRDL, MKT, Segments, AEs, and sales managers, to plan, execute, and provide continuous feedback, thereby generating value through expertise delivery actions.

As a(n) Expertise Delivery Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead the regional Expertise Delivery (ED) team in planning and executing training initiatives.
    • Coordinate with local teams to ensure consistent execution, metrics, content, and image in line with regional and global guidelines.
  • Internal Training Development:
    • Plan, develop, and follow up on regional actions and platforms focused on internal training, including the PEAK program.
    • Align execution strategies with division programs, needs, and campaign priorities.
    • Set up Gold and Platinum trails, make local adjustments, and follow up on execution.
    • Implement the PEAK E-Platform TrailHead locally and manage the Best Practices program.
  • External Training Development:
    • Plan, develop, and follow up on regional actions and platforms focused on external training.
    • Build and Manage the KA training programs, aligning execution strategies with division programs, needs, and campaign priorities.
    • Build and Manage the Channel training programs, aligning execution strategies with division programs, needs, and campaign priorities.
    • Set up e-learning modules for local application.
    • Coordinate with technical teams for the execution and monitoring of regional webinar plans for End Users and Channels through the Safety Expert training program.
  • Specialized Training Programs:
    • Demonstration Vehicles, ensuring plans, metrics, content, and image are consistent with guidelines.
    • Follow up on the operation and work model to deliver value through demonstration vehicles.
    • Collaborate with paid training

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of proven experience in training design, planning, and execution experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years experience in developing and implementing training platforms and programs.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proven experience as a trainer
  • Fall protection experience is preferred
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center site at least 2 days per week)
