1. Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure solutions, using tools specific to the project or the area.
2. Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.
3. Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
4. Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
5. Typically lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
6. Solve complex technical and operational problems. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience
7. May oversee the work of a small team.

1. Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and five+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level Strong understanding of Open Banking and API specifications FDX, FAPI, REST API, OAUTH 2.0, OpenID Connect and proficiency with leading Open Banking platforms
  • Extensively worked on Caching, Flow Hooks for the governs, key value maps.
  • Well versed with best practices for Open Banking API and APIGEE platform and Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization Working experience with:
  • APIGEE Edge/X Java, SQL, Unix Scripting, Visual scripting for Pipeline, JSP Agile, Rally, Jira, Messaging Systems (MQ and JMS) GitLab, GitHub, Respository, Artifactory
  • Different security patterns, Encryption/Decryption algorithms
  • Brainstorming new features, improvements and enhancements, troubleshoot complex problems, to recommend appropriate actions
  • Proven ability to conduct research into software issues and products as required
  • Sense of ownership, integrity demonstrated through clear communication and positive action, post-production support
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, comfortable managing concurrent activities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Participate in design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot proxy APIs and policies using APIGEE Edge/X, and escalated support of Truist's complex solutions.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architectures
  • Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
  • Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, Gradle and Jenkins


Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
