You’ll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people.The position will be based in New York but you will be working with a global team of tech and business stakeholders in Seattle, London and Bengaluru.Key job responsibilities- Learn and understand a broad range of data resources and know how, when and which data sources to use
- Deep dive into massive data sets, build data pipelines using SQL and dashboards using Tableau/ QuickSight
- Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in both verbal and written form
- Manage and execute an entire project from start to finish including problem solving, data gathering & manipulation, analysis and project management
- Convert business requests into technical requirements for data products.A day in the life
Amazon BIEs are expected to own analyses and reporting solutions for the team. You will be helping the Content Publishing Lifecycle organization make key decisions in order to provide our customers with high-quality content. You will collect requirements from stakeholders, synthesize the requirements alongside data and software engineering through technical expertise and offer a number of solutions that can address business problems. You will build and deliver solutions which typically comes in the form of an analysis to enable partners to make data-driven decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
- Experience with data querying or modeling with SQL
- Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed, cost, reliability)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
