Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in social channel management in a corporate setting
  • B2B or technical audience marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience

    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience

    • OR equivalent experience

  • Senior-level presentation skills
  • Previous agency experience
  • Proficiency in working with Sprinklr and other social media tools
  • Demonstrated ability in managing complex editorial calendars
  • Possesses a customer-centric mindset, prioritizing the audience's needs
  • Proven track record in project management, navigating varying priorities, tight timelines, organizational alignment, measurement, and accountability
  • Natural leadership qualities, capable of helping, educating, and influencing stakeholders, vendors, and agencies
  • Skilled in communicating and collaborating with senior executives
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, creative, and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with persistent drive, guiding workgroups towards consensus and meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage the channel and editorial strategy for @MicrosoftDeveloper social ecosystem and channels and related workstreams (ISVs, Visual Studio, etc.)
  • Brief in social creative and manage feedback on social assets across Microsoft Developer channels
  • Represent Developer social workstream in v-team efforts and across monthly business reviews
  • Coordinate with the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) workstream and integrated marketing teams to understand social amplification and ecosystem opportunities
  • Collaborate with other social leads and content development teams to coordinate and align strategies to maximize reach and engagement
  • Integrate across multiple marketing groups and product teams to keep a pulse on upcoming moments, news, and product updates that will be relevant and should be shared with the community
  • Mange vendor resources who support the Developer ecosystem and manage relationships agencies of record
  • Explore partnership opportunities for both internal and external creators within Developer workstreams
