As an Enterprise Solutions Group Manager at Gong, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between go-to-market (GTM) teams, R&D, and product groups. You will own the intake process, oversee commitments, and ensure seamless coordination of customer-focused projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex technical and business environments.
As an Enterprise Solutions Group Manager, you will:
- Own the intake process in collaboration with the Enterprise Solutions group, with Field Engineers assisting in scoping and providing technical details as needed, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
- Take ownership of commitments on behalf of R&D, either by utilizing Enterprise Solutions resources or by coordinating work within product-specific groups.
- Manage the Enterprise Solutions budget, providing recommendations for new projects while maintaining an understanding of current capacity.
- Serve as the point of contact (POC) for all customer commitment projects, including both those driven by Enterprise Solutions and those executed by R&D.
- Ensure ongoing product updates for customers (potentially through Customer Success Managers), setting expectations and maintaining transparency.
- Directly manage work performed by Engineering Services (outside of product groups), ensuring both technical and project success.
- Ensure the on-time and high-quality delivery of all requests.
