Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the application of Third Party Management operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing breaches in controls of Third Party Management from failed internal processes and non-adherance to EBA Guidelines Outsourcing and Central Bank of Irelands Outsourcing guideline requirements.
  • Contributes to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk by challenging both the businesses historical and proposed practices.
  • Responsible for minute taking of TPM committee meeting and follow up on any resulting actions from the meetings
  • Analysis of large data from multiple internal systems make up 80% of the role.
  • Identifies system or process weaknesses, proposing resolutions that will mitigate the exposure and increase processing efficiency
  • Integrates other control functions to ensure all risks are fully scrutinized
  • Tracks and resolves on all TPM risk issues - Process Management - Ad Hoc reporting.
  • Work with business stakeholders to prepare them for committee proposal readiness which includes completion of proposal forms, cost benefit analysis, ensuring contingency plans are in place, completing criticality assessments of internal and external service providers
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and skills (general and technical) Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform under pressure Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to function independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Project Management skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
