Should be willing to work in the shift environment and maintain adherence to shift timings
Should be proficient and hands-on in networking concepts – both Layer-2 (Port-channel, switching concepts) and Layer-3 (BGP, MPLS, VRF)
Active monitoring of the Alert Dashboard
Should have good skills in troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution of networking issues
Should have solid experience creating technical documentation for current and future state network support needs
Ability to make decisions based on risk, best practice and business need and clearly articulate the decision points
Ability to timeline incidents accurately and collaborate with external teams, vendors and prov
Experience with both Windows and Unix (Linux/FreeBSD) servers
Exposure to global network design and management
An urge to take ownership of issues and drive the best-known solution into the discussions for the long-term goals of said projects with an eye for constant improvement

May have worked in a multi-vendor environment with experience in Cisco, Juniper, Arista vendors.
Familiarity with the ITIL process.
Valid Networking Certification – Any vendor
Familiarity with VPC and overlay terminologies
Familiarity in Python with the ability to write code to grep required outputs
Qualifications
4-6 years of working on large scale service provider networks
2+ years routing and switching experience
Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
