Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Building a category strategy for managing procurement of a diverse set of categories, including identifying existing business models, consolidation opportunities, supplier capabilities, means of supplier evaluation, and staffing models and using Tableau to analyze spending and evaluate leverage in category
Using SAP tools (including Ariba) to strategize, design, and execute RFx events tailored to specific categories to ensure competitive pressure on supply base
Evaluating proposals, performing quantitative (with Excel & Tableau) and qualitative analysis of RFP responses to understand differences in proposals and expose opportunities for negotiation of best value
Using Excel to build Should Cost models reflecting the market value of commodities within the category
Negotiating price, NDAs, purchase agreements, and other contracts using Should Cost models to ensure negotiation of best price
Identifying cost-saving opportunities (scope and price) through Excel and Tableau analysis of proposals
Driving cross-functional consensus between finance, operations, and procurement to align on award strategy and negotiate internally
Creating and delivering presentations in Keynote and Tableau for executive review and approval of award strategy
Implementing award strategy with suppliers, along with cross-functional team.
Monitoring supplier performance using Tableau dashboards, performing contract management, and leading quarterly business reviews to ensure continuity of service and maintain supplier relationships
