Consultant – Digital Risk – Brisbane

As a Consultant in Digital Risk, you will work with engagement teams to advise senior executives on managing digital risks, learn and apply evolving digital skillsets, and gain exposure to a diverse range of clients across various sectors, including consumer, government and health. You will assist in planning collaborating with team members to develop scope of works, lead fieldwork, manage staff performance, and use your understanding of complex information systems and industry trends to identify and communicate risks to the clients.

This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin – Brisbane.

Your key responsibilities

  • Learn and apply new, complex, and constantly evolving IT skillsets and topics, across a wide variety of clients including government, financial services and higher education.
  • Assist in the coordination, planning, and delivery of various engagements that may include (but are not limited to) Cyber Security, Data Governance, Data Privacy, API Security, Business Continuity Management (BCM), third party risk management and more.
  • Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify risks and issues the client may face and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.

Skills and attributes for success


This role requires you to have:

  • At least 2 years’ of relevant experience in internal or external audit and/or risk management from an IT, financial and/or operations.
  • Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems.

  • Keen problem-solving skills and business acumen, including time management, spoken and written communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.

  • A logical and structured approach to challenges, projects and documentation and delivering engagement related to AI, Cyber Security, Data Governance, Privacy, and more, while

The salary for this role is AUD 85,700 inclusive of superannuation.
