We’re seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to support delivering Projects in Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia beyond related to water resources, stormwater, floodplain modeling and mapping, dams, ecosystem restoration, water quality, and more. Projects will include planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, design, construction services, and special and innovative projects.

As a Water Resources Project Manager, you’ll be leading a team of highly qualified and motivated engineers, interacting directly with clients to develop and deliver technical solutions, and mentoring ambitious engineers. We’ll ask you to grow your career by acting as a highly competent seller-doer that will be empowered to develop and manage projects in a trusting and supported environment.

We’ll rely on you to assist with business development activities with key clients resulting in acquisition of new projects. You’ll effectively lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout; consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in each contract.

Using your water resources technical expertise, you’ll play an integral role inleading andmentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, includingstrategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts.

Here's what you'll need
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Substantial years’ experience in project management and delivering water resources, stormwater, ecosystem, or related projects.
  • Experience in design, development of construction documents (construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates), and providing services during construction.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, DC or Virginia

Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have:

  • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience serving various Maryland, DC, and Virginia clients and leading business development activities.
