Description
•Collaborating with system architects to identify creative use cases that are impacted by hardware performance•Contributing to process that establishes and validates hardware performance targets for creative use cases•Working individually and collaboratively on research and development of new creative capabilities for iPhone, iPad and Mac•Leading cross-functional efforts to improve performance or bring new features to Apple products•Maintaining knowledge of current and next-generation hardware, software and workflows in media and entertainment•Creating presentation materials and regularly present status reports and project outcomes to peers and executive leadership•Engaging with key external customers
Minimum Qualifications
- •Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in video, visual effects, animation, immersive experience design or similar creative field
- •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- •Multi-disciplinary creative with expert knowledge in two or more established creative software applications
- •Demonstrated success as a technical artist or similarly technical creative contributor in film, television, live events, immersive media, or social media production
- •Authoritative resource within areas of expertise; familiar with specification, design and configuration of all required software, hardware and peripherals
- •Proven ability to build innovative workflows and bring these into production environments
- •Experience debugging and resolving workflow issues independently, within a team, and as a beta tester
- •Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills with ability to inspire and align team members; ability to filter and distill information and package for the right audience
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
