As a Platforms Engineering 4LS/NPI Engineer in the team, you will be responsible for 4th level support after product release is completed, integrating and testing products and supporting application developers in optimizing their workloads for the system. You need to have proven coding skills as before product release date you will be part of development team, typical skills needed in this area are profound understanding of some or all of following : GO, k8s, OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, OpenSearch, Grafana and SRE concept
Having thorough understanding of cloud native software development as well as 24/7 operations, you feel equally comfortable with new software to automate administrative tasks and frameworks to simplify component support as well as designing operations strategy and test automation toolchains for complex, cloud native distributed systems built on top of open-source technologies. As Part of 4th Level Support work you will troubleshoot and fix customer deliveries. Oftentimes this requires hard thinking and innovative solutions.
As Senior 4th Level Support Engineer you have proven track record on developing technical teams. You have solid people centric mindset and minimum 5 years of experience. You have solid understanding of all R&D and support processes. Having thorough understanding of cloud native software development as well as Day 1/2 operations, you feel equally comfortable supporting new software to automate administrative tasks and frameworks to simplify application operations as well as Technical support, deployment strategy and test automation toolchains for complex, cloud native distributed systems built on top of open-source technologies.
You will work with enterprise and technical support teams L1->L4 as well as business owners and customers on operational requirements, technical support and help our R&D teams come up with a detailed operational requirement that fulfills both the functional and non-functional requirements, quality standards, and legal criteria.
