Design, implement, and oversee policies and procedures for the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware assets.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware assets, including laptops, VMs, networking equipment, audiovisual devices, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Work closely with procurement and finance teams to manage hardware purchases and vendor contracts.
Identify opportunities to optimize hardware utilization and reduce costs.
Implement best practices for hardware standardization and consolidation.
Develop and maintain detailed asset records and reports.
Provide regular updates to senior management on asset status, utilization, and lifecycle costs
Software Asset Management:
Design, implement, and oversee policies and procedures for the acquisition, deployment, usage, and disposal of software assets.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all software licenses, subscriptions, and agreements.
Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
Track and manage software licenses to avoid over or under-utilization.
Optimize software licensing to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
Work closely with procurement and legal teams to manage software purchases and vendor contracts
Develop and maintain detailed software asset records and reports.
Provide regular updates to senior management on software asset status, usage, and compliance
Program Development:
Lead the development and continuous improvement of the IT Asset Management program.
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the ITAM program.
Act as a key liaison between IT, procurement, finance, and other departments to ensure cohesive asset management practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, with a focus on both hardware and software in a cloud-based environment
Proven experience in leading and developing ITAM programs.
Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
Experience with IT asset management tools and software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Certifications such as ITIL, CHAMP, or CSAM are required.
SQL or Python experience in developing dashboards on Snowflake is a plus
