We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedTechnical ArchitectTechnical Architectwill play a key role in troubleshooting Infrastructure performance issues, identifying new requirements, and designing and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance. You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centers on regular basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.
Responsibilities:As a Technical Architect, you will be placed at customer location. You will serve as a leader in defining solutions for Client’s IT Infrastructure (Windows / VMs / Storage/ Backup / Cloud & Databases). You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You’ll collaborate with client internal stakeholders and partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various.
Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.
- Total 10-12 years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operational (Windows /Storage / Backup Administration) and in a global enterprise environment
- Good understanding of Windows, VMWare & Storage design principles, sizing, multi-zone/cluster setup, Backup & Restore Strategies, resiliency, and DR design.
- Consult with internal stakeholders and propose architectural solutions to help move & improve infra from on-premise to cloud or help optimize cloud spend from one public cloud to the other.
- Good business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with large teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead discussions with technical experts, application team & Vendors to drive collaboration, design thinking model towards reaching the desired objective.
- Experience in participating in technical discussions/reviews of technical solutions requirements, designs, and other artifacts and use your experience in IT Infrastructure / Network / Storage/ Multicloud to build best solution for Client.
- Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver quality results.
- Strong understanding of Virtualization Technologies
- Understand the full stack right from Firmware, Operating Systems, Application
- Provide leadership to project teams/higher management and facilitate the definition of project deliverables around core technology and methods
- Security, Risk and Compliance Advise customers on best practices around access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect
- Hands-on experience with system administration
- Understanding of strategic IT solutions
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows,Linux), Storage technology, Cloud Infrstructure and databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL etc)
- Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture
