Essential Responsibilities:
- Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
- Advises immediate management on project-level issues
- Guides junior engineers
- Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
- Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

As a Senior Software Engineerfocused onand SQLdesign and implement
Design and develop scalable backenddatasystems
system performance and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers.
What do you need to bring
5+ years ofdatabackend development experience and bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
in Python programming language
Strong understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with ORM tools
Strong SQL skills using tools likeBig Query, Oracle, MySQL, Hadoop,
Strong experience building data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and data processing applicationsand job scheduling tools
Experience in building and developing models, queries, or software toanalyzeand visualize data using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI
proficiencyin backend development with Python frameworks, including Django, or Flask.
in Python data ecosystem (pandas,SQLAlchemy, NumPy, etc.)
Experience designing and implementing RESTful servicesand microservices, focusing on scalability and reliability, using Python
Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.
Understanding of algorithmic techniques, design patterns
Active user of AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) withdemonstratedproductivity improvements
Ability to effectively leverage LLMs for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation
Track recordof rapid prototyping and accelerated delivery through AIassistance
Understanding of when and how to apply AI tools effectively vs. traditional development approaches
skillsand multi-tasking capabilities
Ability toanalyzelarge sets of complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and make business recommendations based on analysis
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate to all levels of business
Self-driver with the ability to work with a cross-functional team
Ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic financial services environment
Experience in developing documentation that meets the highest regulatory standards and audit requirement
Structure and refine analysis with the goal of distilling insights from the data
