Key job responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.
- Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.- Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.- Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.- Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.- Mentor junior development engineers.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
