We are looking for a successful an Applied Scientist (AS) to help develop a general framework for classification and related tools to help improve the accuracy of the algorithms. The AS will work with stakeholders from multiple business units to gather requirements and to build multi-modal ML models for classification .As an applied scientist, you will invent, build and deploy state of the art machine-learning models and systems to enable and enhance the team's mission—real world incarnations of some of the most difficult academic problems.Key job responsibilities
- Write highly optimised production-ready code to maximize throughput and latency for high volume traffic.- Analyze large amounts of data to discover patterns, find opportunities, and develop highly innovative, scalable algorithms to seize these opportunities;- Design, development, and evaluation of highly innovative models for predictive learning.- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation.- Research and implement novel machine learning and statistical approaches.A day in the lifeMunich, DEU

- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field
