Key Roles and Responsibility

As a supply chain analyst, you will assist inreporting, reconciliation, and analysis of sourcing Finance data


Job Description

  • Work with Operational and Finance teams forquarterly estimates and reporting v actuals

  • Identifying risks and opportunities and factoring these into the estimates. Circulate the monthly reports to the Customer’s Operations teams

  • Identifying the correction entries, manual account/ cost center re-class action and cross charges to other businesses as required. Support on month and quarterly closure, including submission of reports to various stakeholders as required. Support to Customer on FP&A cycle - Quarterly estimation, QMI, SII and OP, etc.

  • Ad hoc: P&L analysis, cost deep-dive analysis,Cost Center re-mapping/ maintenance as required and Support in process improvement initiatives to drive simplification

  • Drive consistent and effective policies and procedures duringmonthly/quarterly close process including account reconciliations, account reconciliation audits, GE Corporate Data Request (DR) submissions, representation letters and adjusting entries.

  • Create strong partnerships with key stakeholders include finance, FP&A, business controllership, COE’s, and other functions impacting Logistics & Inventory

  • Research and advise on complex technical accounting issues. Support operating mechanism (setting-up meeting, tracking follow-up / owners)

Qualified accountant: MBA/Mcom/Bcom/ CA Inter with more than 7 years of relevant experience

Key skills:

  • Knowledge on finance and accounting concepts especially onSourcing Finance and Accounts payable

  • Confident / assertiveness: strong communication skills

  • Experienced in working in a global business environment (especially in managing multiple stakeholders)

  • Strong analytical skills; able to clearly link financial results to operational actions to be taken to meet the target and drive saving challenges

  • Adaptable / flexible; being open to change in response to new information, and different or unexpected work scenario. Trained to be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (BOXI, OBIEE, Hyperion, etc.)

  • Alteryx and Power BI knowledge

  • A good team player with right attitude for work
