As a Software Engineer in the Edge Platform team, you will lead development for a variety of Edge Computing products and platforms. You will be responsible for defining the customer experience in the latest Azure offering for Customer's Edge locations. This will be a place where you will innovate to overcome current technology, bring in solutions that solve resiliency, scale, security at a completely different level.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of software development & design experience with 4+ years in frontend development using Typescript or JavaScript
- Deep expertise of Typescript/Javascript, React/Redux
- Excellent coding, debug, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Deep expertise in developing web apps, mobile apps
- Demonstrated experience of developing scalable products
- Experience troubleshooting, investigating, and fixing production issues in large scale cloud and/or hosted environments
Preferred qualifications :
- Experience in developing cloud services
- Past contributions to Open-source libraries
- Skills in priority setting, analysis, communication, time management, scheduling, and multitasking
- Solid foundation in both software and systems engineering
- Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
- Sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience writing code to automate day-to-day tasks
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
